Welcome to the Summer Wine Gala Celebration Website! Learn all about the upcoming event, how to purchase tickets, and have a chance to offer your support to two wonderful charities. Keep this site bookmarked and visit regularly for updated information about the upcoming gala! The gala event will take place in Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the prestigious, four star Peabody Little Rock Hotel in the heart of downtown. The celebration is to honor the 30 year old British comedy series, Last of the Summer Wine, the longest running comedy series in the world. Proceeds from sponsorship, ticket sales, and a silent auction, will benefit Kirkwood Hospice, in West Yorkshire, England (Reg. Charity No. 512987, UK). We hope to raise thousands for this fantastic charity, which depends on public support and funding in order to keep going. Please join us for an evening of exquisite fun, entertainment, and dining you will not soon forget. You will be put on the mailing list and will be notified as soon as any details develop. We are now accepting credit/debit card payments for tickets ONLINE! Note: One hundred percent of the proceeds that are collected from the sponsorships, ticket sales, silent auction, and any other fundraising will be strictly and wholly donated to Kirkwood Hospice, West Yorkshire, England. The event planners and/or committee members of the Summer Wine Gala Celebration will not profit from this event. An expense report will be provided to the charity and any sponsors that wish to view it. |
