Gala Celebration Dinner & Program: ($125 each) The Gala Celebration Dinner & Program will be a one-of-a-kind, black tie event in Summer Wine history. With the purchase of your ticket, you will be entitled to: Feature Length Film - Millenium Special: Last Post and Pigeon: This was Bill Owen's final film and sadly, he passed away while making it in July, 1999. We've been without Mr. Owen for nearly three years and have since lost Gordon Wharmby (Wesley Pegden) last May, Dame Thora Hird (Edie Pegden) in March, and the very recently Danny O'Dea (Eli Duckett). This film is to honor all of them and view the movie in full screen in the theater-style room in the Conference Center of the Peabody Hotel, Little Rock. Admission will be by ticket only. No tickets will be sold "at the door" for this program. If sold out, additional showings will be arranged. Immediately following the showing of Millenium Special: Last Post & Pigeon, we will show a 30-minute program Behind the Scenes which will include unique insights into the filming of Last of the Summer Wine as well as introductions to some of the most beloved characters and even some hilarious bloopers! Coming to the viewing of Millenium Special: Last Post and Pigeon would be a great way to let the kids attend an event related to Last of the Summer Wine. Children don't normally enjoy galas but this would be a fun way to let them participate, too! VIP Autograph Reception: ($50 each) This event will be held prior to the Gala Celebration Dinner & Program and will only be open to those attending the gala. The attending cast members will mingle among the V.I.P. guests and cocktails will be served, butler-style and at the bar. You will feel like royalty at this special reception. Admission is by ticket only. Handling Charge ($4.95 per order) Required per order. Each order will be subject to the $4.95 handling charge which offsets postage and packing. An "order" represents tickets for a single household and will be sent Priority Mail from the US Postal Service. Overseas orders will require additional charges, please contact Robin Simpson for overseas delivery charges. Overseas guests will have the option to pick their tickets up at the door. This option is not available for guests from the 50 United States. All proceeds to be sent directly to Kirkwood Hospice, West Yorkshire, England (Reg. Charity No. 512987, UK). |
